In this video, we will see how you could directly jump to the checkout page after clicking the Book Now button of your WooCommerce Booking calendar using the PluginHive’s WooCommerce Bookings and Appointments plugin.

In WooCommerce, when the customers click on the Book Now or the Add to Cart button, a View Cart message is displayed and the customers are redirected to the cart page to review the booking. The customers then go to the checkout page to place the order.

However, there are online booking sites, that prefer to skip the additional step of having customers review the booking in the cart page before placing the order. For these sites, customers visiting the checkout page directly may result in reduced cart abandonment.

Now let us see how you can do this in your WooCommerce store. In order to redirect to the checkout page, you need to navigate to the WooCommerce, Settings, Products, and enable this option under the Add To Cart Behaviour.

After this, navigate to Appearance, Theme Editor, and add the code (mentioned in the description above) in the functions.php file of your theme.

Now, let’s save the changes, visit the booking calendar, and see how the Book Now button redirects customers to the checkout page.
